Habits before conventions
This designer’s own home at Poly Jinshang in Shanghai replaces a conventional TV-and-sofa arrangement with a 2.2-metre table for working and dining. An armchair faces the window, giving reading and watching the changing light a natural place in the day.
A bathroom that belongs to the home
The official project story describes GABO integrated basins, Qingmei fittings, a bath, shower and floor drain in the bathroom. The elements work together with the room’s lines, palette and everyday routines.
From inspiration to a personal choice
Once a style catches your eye, consider storage at the basin, circulation around the bath and how the fittings sit alongside stone and lighting. These small decisions help turn an appealing image into a room that suits you.
