A design image is a useful starting point, but an order needs a clear model, dimensions, component list and service terms. This checklist offers general buying questions; it is not a promise about the specification or service of every GABO product.
Identify the exact model
Write down the full model code, finish, quantity and intended location. Ask for the matching dimension drawing, component list and installation instructions. Do not assume that every component in a display image is included in a quote.
Check the complete wash area
Review the basin, countertop and mixer drawings together with the designer or installer. For wall-mounted and concealed fittings, confirm installation positions and maintenance access against the actual model instructions and site conditions. A visual rendering is not a construction drawing.
Clarify the scope of the quote
Check whether the body, panel, concealed unit, outlets, hoses and other accessories are included. Clarify transport, handling, installation and commissioning responsibilities. For customized items, agree the drawing revision, permitted changes, lead time and cancellation terms in writing.
Read warranty terms by component
Confirm the coverage of the body, cartridge, finish, seals and installation service, as well as the start date, exclusions and responsible service provider. Do not extend the terms for one model or component to the whole brand.
Keep an agreed handover record
- Model, finish, quantity and intended location.
- Dimensions, installation instructions and included components.
- Quote validity, delivery scope, charges and lead time.
- Installer approval, inspection requirements and service terms.
